Festival of Stories : BEE POSITIVE !
Buzz along to our interactive story-telling session about bees for three to five-year-olds. Learn about the important role that bees play in our natural environment and develop a bee-witching vocabulary through indoor games and activities linked to picture books. Create a word hurricane, discover how honey is made and follow recipes to create some simple honey-based snacks.

The Festival of Stories will shine a light on how stories can be used in fun and interactive ways to bring a sparkle of magic to the everyday, and how they can be used to boost young children’s communication, language, and literacy skills. Our festival will also highlight how stories can help young children feel safe and connected to others, and help them better understand the world we live in.

Families of children aged birth to five are welcome to join our festival where we will be sharing lots of magical stories about bees. We will also be running some fantastic activities which will shine a light on how we can give bees a helping hand and encourage them to thrive.
