This is an exciting method of working with glass. The pieces are made by trapping metals: aluminium, Copper, Brass and Silver in the form of foil, leaf, wires and mesh between two pieces of glass. Frit ( ground glass) dichroic glass and many other materials may be used. The resulting artworks are then fired in the kiln to approx. 820C so that the glass slumps and fuses together. The final colours are the result of unpredictable alchemy which causes unique and exciting effects.

All materials and tools will be provided.

Please Note: Your creation(s) will be available to collect from Haddenham Arts Centre approximately one week following the workshop.

This workshop will be held outside in our gardens under our covered marquee.
