Ages 16+ Suitable for complete beginners -

Spend the day having fun learning two of the basic pottery skills. This workshop will be held outside in our lovely gardens under our large marquee, using nature as inspiration. Price includes morning & afternoon refreshments.

Throwing pots on the wheel is the technique of shaping round ceramics using a potter’s wheel, shaping the pot as the wheel turns.

Slab building involves rolling out clay to an even thickness then cutting shapes, folding, bending, manipulation and joining together to create the finished form. Your pots will be bisque fired ready for you to collect at a later date. We will notify you when they are ready for collection.

For a small additional cost we are offering the opportunity to return for a drop in morning glazing session (DATE TBC). This will enable you to seal and waterproof your pot(s) after which they will then receive a second firing.
