Magenta is a textile, tapestry and installation artist working in Cambridgeshire. She specialises in traditional Korean hand-stitched techniques of bojani and jogakbo. Alongside the exhibition are exquisite items such as bookmarks, cards and smaller 2-D and 3-D pieces for sale.

Her art is informed by the natural world and found things, especially wood, often wrapped or augmented with intricate patchwork or incorporated into tapestry.

She sees her work as a reflection of her passion for nature and humanity. The final resolution is invariably a synthesis of cultural and natural organic elements. Her practice always encompasses an autobiographical element which she sees as an exploration of self-perceived identity. ‘Magenta’
