Paint a local landmark in a vibrant loose and lively Watercolour style with artist Ian Mcmanus .
Learn methods and tips on how to draw subject matter effectively and paint in a loose and lively way to create effective depth of field and atmospherics to achieve a contemporary and dynamic watercolour painting.

MATERIALS
Please bring your own watercolour kit which should consist of the following items or similar.
Watercolour paints
Tubes are preferred but pans are also OK.
Any brand is OK but academy, or student quality to be avoided.
Watercolour brushes
Small and medium synthetic round detailer Medium and large squirrel mop style
Watercolour paper
Rough or Not surface watercolour paper is required - Stretched and prepared for painting. The size should be 1/4 imperial or A3 not smaller.
Saunders Waterford high- white is recommended, but any good quality watercolour paper will be fine.
Other items
Waterpots, palette, drawing board, kitchen roll, pencil, rubber, pencil sharpener, small spray bottle.
