In the lovely setting of Haddenham Arts Centre, near Ely, Jane will take you through all the techniques necessary to make your piece and everyone will go home with finished items they can be proud of. This workshop will be inside our large workshop room. Book directly with Jane.

Willow hearts for Valentine’s Day, as gifts or to keep! You will learn to use two or three colours of willow to make random weave hearts. Max 8 places to enable a really good learning experience.  All tools and materials are supplied.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those who have done some willow weaving before.

Jane has experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs. This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 13, children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.

Additional things you might like to bring; Notebook, pens or pencil, Garden Wire, Scissors and String, Sharp Knife – Stanley or Craft, Gardening gloves.

You can pre-book a special workshop lunch offer on arrival. Select from the menu, fresh produce is made on-site every day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

You will need to have a reasonable amount of strength in your hands to be able to work with the willow. Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.

Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
