Learn and develop your needle-felting skills & create seascape inspired scenes.

Join Haddenham Arts Centre resident studio artist Annie Brown for a wonderful relaxing day learning the art of needle-felting. The workshop will be run in our light filled workshop room inside the arts centre.

Annie will begin by teaching you how to make a small sample piece to try out different needle-felting techniques using some embellishment materials, as well as merino wool tops in a rainbow of colours. You will then go on to create your seascapes, adding lighthouses, beach huts, buckets & spades & more; wherever your imagination takes you!

You can use Annie's examples or work to your own design to create some fabulous seaside imagery. Annie will bring a range of samples and reference for inspiration but you are welcome to bring along your own too. There will be plenty of time for one to one tuition.

Students take home both their sample piece and finished piece.

There is an on site cafe where workshop paticipants are entitled to a 10% discount on the day of the workshop or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
