Please Note: This workshop may be booked as a stand alone or if you wish to develope your skills further in combination with The Second Watercolour Workshop ‘Texturing Techniques’ on 1st February 2025. A discount will apply if you book and pay for both workshops at the same time. Each workshop will be self contained if you are not able to attend both.

Watercolour Workshop One - Basic Techniques Saturday 7 December 2024 10am - 3.30pm
In this full day workshop you will learn all about the basic materials (paint, brushes, paper), colour mixing, wet and dry washes, use of cling film, sea salt, candle wax, and art masking fuid techniques.
You will create a simple landscape to take home and frame.
Watercolour Workshop Two - ‘Texturing Techniques’ Saturday 1 February 2025 10am -3.30pm
In this full day workshop you will learn about the use of specialist brushes, dry brush work, the use of sponges and the addition of pen and watercolour pencils.
You will create a further simple landscape to take home and frame.

Watercolour Paper 300grms in weight and cold pressed (smooth)
Brushes - soft watercolour brushes, not bristle.
Watercolour Paints - tubes if possible.
Palette and Water Pot
Kitchen Towel
Small Drawing Board
Masking Tape
HB Pencil
